Peeking Through the Cracks

Peeking Through the Cracks

Being the Church!

“Church” – as a platform for the gifted man and his anointed ministry – is crumbling all around.

As people start peeking outside the walls through the cracked facades, some find liberty.

Many, however, choose to remain trapped in the ruins.

We all have a choice. Liberty and life, or bondage and stagnation.

Seek grace, find courage, embrace joy and venture forth.

You’ll be surprised at how many other brave hearts await you outside the walls.

God’s call is clear: It is time to be the church once again.

  1. “a platform for the gifted man and his anointed ministry” WOW! You sure have the terms down. I think “anointed” would make a good study all on its own. It is so full of Old Testament (read Covenant) theology. Here aRre the only NT passages I find that refers to anointing (except for those which refer to Jesus’ anointing from the Father):
2Co 1:21-22(NET) But it is God who establishes us together with you in Christ and who anointed us, who also sealed us and gave us the Spirit in our hearts as a down payment.
1 John 2:20(NIV) But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth.
1 John 2:27(NIV) As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit—just as it has taught you, remain in him.
All three imply that, whatever this anointing is, EVERYONE in Christ has it. I suspect people have for centuries used the term in ways not consistent with Scripture! No wonder folks “Seek grace, find courage, embrace joy and venture forth.”
