We need to avoid the tendency to make gurus of those who have helped us through their ministries, and to not set them up where they become untouchable or beyond questioning. It cripples the Body of Christ.

  2. yes ties into the professionalisation of pretty much everything such that we look to ‘professionals’ for all aspects of spiritual life. mix in with celebrity culture and results are bad. Though it is a tad ironic seeing that many blogs perpetuate this reality… with cyber voices trying to increase followers and move up the ranking ladders.
