To claim that “Jesus is the truth”, while denying the full authority of His written Word, is disingenuous. It means that you want your own sensibilities and subjective perceptions to be the standard by which Jesus Himself, and thus “truth”, is defined.

I can’t help but think of the book “Scripture As Logos” by Rabbi Ishmael, where he states that, “The logos is simultaneously the instructor and the content of its instruction.”

Miguel, it is interesting that Rabbi Ishmael had to express that idea subjectively…since there is no biblical passage that expresses it like that.
