it may be easier but its just one of many methods that can all have jesus back of them. sometimes there is no pre existing community or ‘person of peace’. Attractional modals are not wrong in themselves its just that theyve been overdone as i see it.

I would never make it either/or, but my observation is that we tend to do it backwards. Folks start a church and say “come”, hoping community emerges. It almost never does – at least, not in any meaningful way. We have seen church quickly emerge, however, when we go and introduce Christ into existing community.
